A good strategy for learning a new language is immersion. Surround yourself with the foreign language in your everyday life. For example, you can watch TV-shows , listen to podcast , read books or news in that language. The effects of this strategy are maximized through consistensy . You should aim to immerse yourself in the new language everyday . You can do this with any language you are trying to learn. Book review Hello dear readers it has been quite a long time since the last post but I’am back again. Greetings to you if you have yet again found my post. As they say in the north “Winter is coming.” so it has also fallen on upon us in Oulu. Although I ha ve to say that it has been quite a mild one. Maybe we will get more snow in the future ... But enough rambling about random trivial things and let’s get to the point of todays post. I read a few chapter s from Robert C. Martins book “Clean Code ” . Choosing this book was an easy task. I opened the website containing the list of the books and decided to close my eyes and pick a random one . The book itself was actually almost philosophical and I found that interesting especially with it being a book about coding.
